The Indianapolis Colts are back at home in Week 17 for a divisional matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Now 8-7 on the season, the Colts are barely hanging on to their playoff hopes. In order to make the postseason, the Colts must win out and get some help along the way.

With a Houston win on Saturday, the Colts would be eliminated before kickoff on Sunday.

“There’s a path to victory for Indianapolis, especially if it turns long, methodical drives into touchdowns and forces Trevor Lawrence into a mistake or two … or three,” wrote Parr. “I’m just not going to predict that scenario will play out, with the QB playing squeaky-clean ball of late and Jacksonville closing in on a division title. Of ESPN’s seven staff members making predictions, seven of them are picking the Jaguars. Jeremy Fowler is picking the Colts to win.

The entire Monday Morning Quarterback crew is picking the Jaguars. That’s seven in favor of Jacksonville and none for the Colts.

Pro Football Talk

Mike Florio is picking the Jaguars to win 30-20, while Chris Simms has Jacksonville winning 34-20.

CBS Sports

Pete Prisco is also picking the Jaguars by a score of 35-20.

“The Colts have slim playoff hopes, while the Jaguars are trying to win the division,” wrote Prisco. “Motivation goes to the Jaguars. The Colts have a ton of major injuries and the defense is a mess. The Jacksonville offense is rolling and Trevor Lawrence will continue that here.”
