New Mortal Kombat Kollection in 4K Now Up for Preorder

Mortal Kombat is no stranger to the big screen, with three live-action films in the books and one more on the way later this year. While the recent Mortal Kombat films have reignited fan interest for the franchise at the theaters, the original live-action debut for Mortal Kombat started in 1995.

That original release, Mortal Kombat, as well as Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, are back just in time for 2026’s Mortal Kombat II in this new Mortal Kombat Kollection. The set features new 4K restorations of the two original films, packing in numerous bonus features and interviews.

The Mortal Kombat Kollection comes with both Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. Both films have received brand new 4K restorations by Arrow Films, with Dolby Vision support, lossless audio support, and optional English subtitles.

Each film also comes packed with brand new extras, including audio commentary from Mortal Kombat director Paul W.S. Anderson. In total, you’ll find over a dozen interviews and extras, including interviews with directors, producers, cast, cinematographers, costume designers, and more. If you’re curious how these films were made, these interviews will be a goldmine of insight.

Beyond special features, the Mortal Kombat Kollection also packs in a perfect-bound booklet with new writing on the films, reversible sleeves featuring original art by Matt Griffin, and two double-sided posters with new art.
