Netflix co-CEO wants to hit the box office. Bad idea?


Netflix (NFLX) is reportedly considering switching its Warner Bros. (WBD) acquisition offer to an all-cash bid. The headlines come just days before the company’s quarterly earnings release on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Additionally, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos told reporters on Friday that he wants the company to expand beyond streaming and enter the theater box office industry.
