He was last seen around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the 7000 block of Highway 195 in Jasper wearing a yellow Mickey Mouse shirt, black pants and Paw Patrol shoes, the alert noted.

Smith noted that the search for Boley covered more than 500 acres using a helicopter, drones, 161 volunteers, 126 first responders and multiple police dogs.

Boley’s parents are separated, and he disappeared while visiting his father in Alabama, who used to be in the military and has five visitation days per year, Walker County Sheriff Nick Smith said at a press conference.

Boley’s mother arrived in Alabama from Florida on Wednesday to get him on Thursday, according to ABC Alabama affiliate WBMA. She is cooperating fully with authorities, Smith noted at the press conference.
