Microsoft Partner Photonic Raises $131 Million for Quantum Push


In December, Canada said it would provide more funding to homegrown quantum firms, as competition with the US heats up. In November, Photonic shareholder and provincial pension fund British Columbia Investment Management Corp., which manages C$295 billion, said it’s stepping up preparations for a world with quantum computing.
