Marnie Myszko joins Edelman, Erin O’Toole goes to Huron University, Homeward Public Affairs brings on Karina Rolland

Marnie Myszko joins Edelman as an account director, integrated brand.

In a statement posted on LinkedIn Marnie announced her departure from Crestview and her joining Edelman. In her statement, Marnie stated she is “walking away with a heart full of gratitude for a team that challenged me, mentored me, and redefined what collaboration looks like.”

Prior to joining Edelman, Marnie worked as a senior consultant at Crestview Strategy for 3 years, as well as a senior account executive at Porter Novelli.

 

Erin O’Toole (Sourced)

Erin O’Toole is joining Huron University in the Department of Governance, Leadership and Ethics.

In a press release shared with iPolitics, Huron University stated, “With a distinguished career spanning the military, the private sector, and public life, O’Toole brings a wealth of experience and insight to Huron. His public service career spanned a decade as the Member of Parliament for Durham, with roles including Minister of Veterans Affairs and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Trade”.

In a statement, O’Toole said, “I am deeply honoured to join Huron University […] Huron has a long tradition of producing leaders who combine high intellectual rigour with a strong sense of service and good character. Our country needs the next generation of leaders to be versatile and better prepared to help our country navigate geopolitical uncertainty and polarization.”

Homeward Public Affairs is hiring Karina Rolland as a senior consultant.

In a post shared on LinkedIn, Homeward Public Affairs announced the hiring of Karina as a senior consultant based in Ottawa. In the statement, Homeward Public Affairs said that Karina “is known not just for her political insight, but for the trust she builds with the people she works with. She’s thoughtful, steady, and deeply committed to helping organizations navigate complex policy environments well.”

Prior to joining the firm, Karina worked at the Mental Health Commission of Canada for 2 years as a principal, and 2 years as a manager of their government and stakeholder relations. In her own statement, Karina expressed her excitement to be joining the team.
