This week’s roundup of staffing changes on Parliament Hill.
Canadian Identity and Culture Minister Marc Miller has a new staffer.

Marie-Michelle Demers has joined Miller’s office as a communications advisor, according to her LinkedIn.
Demers, who joined the office in December, comes to federal politics after some 20 months as the deputy director of communications with the National Theatre School of Canada.
Demers also spent time working in communications for the Conseil québécois du théâtre.
Miller was named to cabinet in November after Steven Guilbeault resigned from the role in protest of Prime Minister Mark Carney reaching a deal with Alberta that could pave the way for a new oil pipeline to the West Coast.

Meanwhile, Peter Wall has nabbed a promotion in the office of Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation Evan Solomon’s office.
Wall is now Solomon’s deputy chief of staff and director of communications. According to his LinkedIn, he started in the new role earlier this month.
A former CBC journalist, Wall joined Solomon’s office as director of communications last summer.
