Marathon Leaks Tease A Whole Lot Of Guns

Bungie’s next live-service game, Marathon, is just a few weeks away. Preview events are already lined up around the world, including one in China, which reportedly showed off a ton of weapons and guns that will be available at launch.

According to MarathonGameHQ (via Eurogamer), there will be 28 guns in Marathon, each with two or more skins. Some of the skins will alter the weapon model. Players can upgrade these weapons with one charm slot and three sticker slots, which will be unlocked by completing challenges.

The new game will maintain continuity with the Marathon trilogy Bungie created during the ’90s. That link will be explored through the will of Dr. Strauss, which will reconnect the narrative threads between the original games and the new one.
