Madison Beer joined Variety’s 9th Annual Hitmakers Brunch in Los Angeles on Saturday, adding her own entry to the growing run of peep-toe pumps appearing across late-year events.
Beer’s pair featured a glossy black patent upper shaped into a small peep-toe opening, worn with sheer black tights that gave the front of the shoe a clean line. A slim slingback strap held the heel, and the stiletto carried a straight, lacquered finish that stayed consistent with the upper. Along the lower edge, a natural leather welt sat between the patent and the sole, giving the silhouette firmer definition without altering its minimal feel.

She kept the rest of the look sharply pared back. Beer wore a white halter-neck mini dress with a single black strap that crossed the neckline, plus sheer black tights to anchor the dress to the shoes. Gold rings and bracelets added the only hardware in the outfit, and her hair — worn half-up with soft waves — kept the look in the brunch’s daytime range.

The appearance fits into Beer’s recent preference for black footwear. She logged a similar black-boot look in New York in October, stepping out the day after her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show performance in a rounded square-toe pair with a leather jacket and denim. A week later, she chose a pointed square-toe leather boot for a Los Angeles Lakers game, paired with faded denim and a black halter top.

Peep-toes themselves have been circulating widely this season. At the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas in November, Beyoncé opted for a red patent platform peep-toe with a vinyl bodysuit. In New York a few weeks later, Julia Fox reached for a python-trim stiletto version during a night out. And in Munich last week, Lottie Moss turned to a peep-toe platform with a crisscrossed front at the Mon Chéri Barbara Tag charity event.
The brunch itself brought together artists, songwriters and music executives recognized for shaping 2025’s biggest hits — among them Tate McRae , who was awarded the Powerhouse of the Year award, Sabrina Carpenter, Rosé, Addison Rae and Megan Moroney. Their appearances capped Variety’s annual celebration of the collaborators behind the year’s most successful releases.
