Lori Harvey Goes All Black in Balenciaga Duchesse Pumps in Paris

Lori Harvey went all black at Balenciaga’s fall 2026 show on Saturday in Paris, wearing the house’s Duchesse pumps with a black leather cape top from Balenciaga’s spring 2026 collection and loose black trousers. The look kept to a narrow, stripped-back line, with the long-toed pump extending the same severe shape set by the top and trouser.

The Duchesse pump featured a long asymmetrical pointed toe, a deep V-cut vamp and high sides that narrowed through the arch into a slim 90 mm stiletto. Balenciaga currently lists the Duchesse pump at $1,190 in suede, with the same asymmetrical toe and deep-V construction; in the photos from the show, Harvey’s pair read as smooth black leather rather than suede.

The rest of the Skn founder’s look followed the same angular codes. Harvey wore a black leather top cut off the shoulders in a wide band and extended into a cape shape with an uneven hem. The trouser break covered most of the shoe, leaving the pointed toes in view.

That shoe choice also fit neatly into Harvey’s recent run. At the Golden Globes in January and at YSL Beauty’s Love 24/7 Bodega pop-up in February, she wore Saint Laurent’s L’entracte slingbacks, both pairs built around an elongated pointed toe and a high-cut front. The Duchesse kept the exposed-instep effect of those Saint Laurent shoes, but replaced the slingback strap with a cleaner closed shape and a deeper V opening.

The style has been gaining traction elsewhere, too. Sarah Pidgeon wore the Duchesse in White Snow at the 2026 SAG Awards on March 2, and Tessa Thompson wore a white pair to the Franca Fund Gala back in November. Naomi Watts also wore black Duchesse pumps to the same Balenciaga show on Saturday, giving the silhouette another front row outing that afternoon.
