Liberals shove Canada into China’s menacing embrace: Ivison


Tracing the use of coerced labour is clearly a challenge, though the Americans have taken a hard line by adopting a reverse onus policy, that treats goods from Xinjiang as using forced labour unless importers can demonstrate otherwise. That is an option for Canada, though not a likely one under the existing policy of cozying up to the Chinese Communist Party.
