Liberal MP Yvan Baker says bill will honour Ukrainian-Canadians and celebrate Canada’s contribution to Ukraine, including in ongoing war effort


“If Russia succeeds in Ukraine, it is not going to stop there,” he said, adding that funding Ukraine now will be cheaper than supporting future conflicts, including possibly in the Arctic, which Russia has its eyes on.
