A third-generation baker and pizza-maker, he opened Pepe in Grani in 2012. In his hometown, roughly 50 kilometres from Naples, Pepe carries on the family tradition while charting his own course. Building on lessons from Neapolitan pizza masters and finding inspiration in haute cuisine, Pepe continues to make pizza by hand, using the same techniques as his grandfather, Francesco, and father, Stefano.
