Lainey Wilson Country-fies Zuhair Murad for ‘Hannah Montana’ Event

Lainey Wilson merged her quintessential Western-inspired style with modern opulence in Zuhair Murad for Monday night’s world premiere of Disney+’s “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” in Los Angeles.

The “Heart Like a Truck” singer turned to the Lebanese designer’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection for her look. Wilson wore a sheer black, fully beaded jumpsuit with a high neckline and flared sleeves. The look was designed with sweeping sinuous lines over the sheer base material.

Small sequins and crystals were ornately placed throughout the jumpsuit, which featured a mostly formfitting silhouette. A black bandeau top and high-waisted short-shorts were worn by the singer beneath the sheer jumpsuit.

Exaggerated flared sleeves gave the jumpsuit a maximalist edge, elevating drama and giving the overall look even more depth. As for finishing touches, Wilson forewent her usual cowgirl boots in favor of black pointed-toe pumps. She also wore statement earrings crafted in silver and black, with her hair pulled back and wisps to frame her face to spotlight the jewelry.

Wilson’s found creative ways to merge her Western style with designer pieces for years, wearing looks by Gaurav Gupta and Rahul Mishra, among others. “Before I ever open my mouth, my clothes say something. I love using fashion to bring the music to life, whether that’s a detail that hints at the chapter I’m in or a look that sets the tone for a moment,” Wilson told WWD ahead of her hosting duties at the 2025 CMA Awards.

The singer transitioned her love of fashion into her collaborations with brands like Wrangler and her own line of boots — Golden West, which recently launched a new design that pays homage to Wilson’s home state of Louisiana.

Disney+’s “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” follows Miley Cyrus, who originated the role on Disney Channel in 2006, as she reflects on the show’s 20th anniversary in interviews, archival footage and never-before-seen moments. The “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” is available to stream now on Disney+.
