Padel, Erewhon and now a dermatologist-backed facial.
Kith Ivy, Kith’s New York-based wellness and padel club, is beefing up its service offerings with a new Aesthetica Skin Lab facial. It’s the latest project from Aesthetica founder Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali, who has served as Rhode’s dermatologist in residence since its founding and also cofounded Elm Biosciences in 2025 with Martha Stewart.
One of Bhanusali’s early patients was the wife of Kith founder and chief executive officer Ronnie Fieg. “I was lucky enough to have a front row seat to watch them build arguably one of the most incredible brands in the world,” Bhanusali said. “When you walk into one of the stores, it’s an experience.”
On the services front, he started Aesthetica Skin Lab in his own practice. Expanding his services offering is also reflective of what opportunities he’s seen in the market. “I’m still pretty open about how I don’t think most facials are done correctly,” he said. “When you’re caring for somebody, particularly their face, it should be a bit more personal and more bespoke. We leverage science to lead us, and that’s the thought across everything I do.”
That includes starting with image analysis. “We have different types of facials you can do, but no two facials will ever be done the same way. The ingredients, the types of products might vary,” Bhanusali said. “We have a bit more freedom in articulating what somebody should be experiencing.”
From there, Bhanusali might incorporate a range of technologies. “We use certain muscle stimulations, LED lights, advanced electroporation,” he said. “The whole idea with these facials is they’re not about how you look immediately afterward, or even over time. It’s how your skin looks later.”
