Washington, who often works with styling duo Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, arrived at the event wearing a pair of high-heeled pumps in a camel brown shade. She appeared to be wearing the Celia Calfskin Pump from the Ralph Lauren Collection, which retails for $750.

The shoes featured a sculpted topline that led to an elegant pointed-toe silhouette. The heels feature a padded insole and a tall 4-inch heel. The shoes weren’t all the way visible until she sat down for the conversation, revealing the heels’ low-cut vamp. The pumps were mostly obscured by the hem of her black trousers, aside from the sleek pointed toe that peeked through the bottom of the pants.

She paired the trousers with a black scoop-neck tank top accented by a brown leather strap with a buckle that perfectly matched her heels. The equestrian-inspired shoulder strap featured an antiqued brass buckle, and added a fun element to the understated look. She completed the look with an oversized, drop shoulder overcoat in black.

She wore her hair in a long, textured braid that features shades of gold, honey, and platinum blonde. The ensemble is a more relaxed and more casual look than the “Scandal” star has been wearing as of late amid awards season.
