Jemima Kirke Is Completedworks’ Latest Unhinged Party Host

LONDON — Anna Jewsbury is one of the few designers in town who knows how make a presentation slot work.

For fall 2026, her accessories and lifestyle brand Completedworks teamed with writer Laura Waldren for the second time to produce the micro-play “Good Food, Good Friends,” featuring Jemima Kirke as the unhinged party host Régine McQueen, an archetype the fashion industry has seen too many of.

She demands, and she commands. She is self-centered, and she cannot stop talking about herself. Everyone is her dear friend, yet no one really matters to her.

Kirke portrayed that perfectly as she bossed everyone around to help her with flower arrangements and making Bloody Marys during a hyper-styled, televised dinner party that also included Camille Charrière as her personal assistant.

Needless to say, despite being unbearable and mean-spirited, Kirke’s character looked good with layers of Completedworks items around her neck and wrists, and on her feet, a pair of Asics sneakers from the brand’s first round of collaboration adorned with pearl beaded bows.

Jewsbury said the show was about identity and using satire to bridge the gap between “how we appear on the outside and then kind of what’s beneath the surface,” and casting Kirke really helped deliver that message.

“She’s an amazing actor. What’s so great about her is she’s able to really embody contradiction, so she can hold confidence and vulnerability at the same time, which is really important for the character,” Jewsbury added.

The design of Completedworks’ fall range also mirrored that inside-outside contrast. Silver silhouettes were cut away to show bright green resin underneath. Jewsbury also highlighted the use of agate this season, which has calcium inclusions inside that imitate flowers.

The presentation took place in the ballroom of Nobu Portman Square, which is hosting a Completedworks pop-up until the end of February. It showcases the brand’s signature pieces across jewelry, homeware and handbags in a pared-back setting.
