Isa Briones Steps Out in Fendi Sandals Before a Broadway Performance

Though she may be best known as Dr. Santos on HBO Max’s Emmy-winning series “The Pitt,” Isa Briones is a true multi-hyphenate, currently taking Broadway by storm as Connie Francis in “Just in Time.” On Friday, the actress and singer greeted fans ahead of her performance at New York’s Circle in the Square Theatre, stepping out in statement-making Fendi sandals.

Briones slipped into the Italian fashion house’s Arco color-blocked slingback sandals, which retail for $1,150. The maximalist shoes featured lilac leather straps — carried through the back of the heel — along with a contrasting chocolate brown mesh detail across the toes. A hint of bubblegum pink provided another splash of color beneath the foot. The style is set on a sculptural 65mm block heel with a curved cutout silhouette, adding an architectural edge to the otherwise feminine design. Fendi’s Arco sandals are also available in another color-block iteration featuring bright blue, mint green, soft yellow and chocolate brown.

The actress styled the colorful shoes with a white asymmetric tank emblazoned with floral embellishments. She grounded the look with black capri pants — an early aughts trend that’s resurfaced in recent seasons. Briones kept her jewelry pared back, opting for a few chunky bracelets in lieu of a necklace. Bouncy curls, glowy skin and glossy lips completed her look.

On Friday, Briones was joined by fellow “Just in Time” stars Matthew Morrison and Debbie Gravitte. The musical kicked off on Wednesday and wil run through April 19. Briones took over the role of Connie from “Modern Family” actress Sarah Hyland, whose final show was at the end of March. No stranger to the stage, Briones became the youngest performer in the first touring company of “Hamilton” at just 19, later making her Broadway debut as Eurydice in “Hadestown.”
