There are reports that he frequently uses this G550 aircraft, particularly in relation to his broadcasting and business commitments when traveling for FOX Sports across the country.
It is common for wealthy people like Tom Brady to have private jets like the venerable G550, although his particular aircraft remains something of a mystery. It is also unclear in what capacity he owns it, or just has use of it. The aircraft is useful for him to zip around the country for his new role working for FOX Sports, and it fits well with his connections with Wheels Up and Delta Air Lines. Last year, Brady appeared at Boston Logan International Airport dishing out free hamburgers as part of this contract with Delta Air Lines.
Unclear Which G550 Is Brady’s
A November 2024 article by the Sun names Tom Brady’s private jet as a Gulfstream G550, while a more recent article by Slash Gear, published in July 2025, also calls the private jet a Gulfstream G550. The Gulfstream G550 is an older but very successful business jet and has been on the market since the 2000s. However, no article appears to display the tail number of the aircraft.
There is no definitive publicly verified FAA registration for Tom Brady’s personal jet. So, while it’s widely reported by media and aviation enthusiasts that Tom Brady owns or at least has the use of a Gulfstream G550, it is unclear which one. This is common for celebrities who often register their aircraft under trusts or limited liability companies for privacy. The FAA also allows owners to request that their personal identifying information be hidden from public aircraft tracking sites.
Based on the age, customization, and type of aircraft he is seen flying, it is estimated online that the jet is worth around $20 million and can carry up to 19 passengers. Some outlets identify the jet as registered N236MJ, but this is incorrect, as that jet belongs to Michael Jordan. Even if the tail number was known, celebrities often use the FAA’s Limited Aircraft Data Display (LADD) to block flight tracking websites like FlightAware from displaying their real-time movements.
What Can Be Gleaned From Cabin Images
Photos of Tom Brady in a private jet are featured in the Sun article, as well as an interior image of a private jet without Brady. The image without Brady shows the interior with LED cove lighting that looks like a late-life G550 refurbishment. This could indicate that the aircraft is not a new production aircraft, but it’s unclear for sure. The layout is typical of retrofits carried out from the 2010s to the 2020s. However, it is unclear if this image is related at all to Brady’s aircraft; it appears to be a stock image from Getty.
The two images showing Brady seated in a private jet appear to depict a Gulfstream G650 or G650ER. This can be shown by the larger and taller windows than those of the G550. The aircraft also appears to be that of a factory or near-factory G650-era design. Overall, it seems the aircraft is pretty much factory standard.
Notably, Gulfstream factory interiors typically come with all-leather seating and have more uniform materials. But while the cabin appears to have been refurbished and customized, it is still an extremely common layout for corporate G550s. It is unclear why The Sun features these images and if any of them are related to Brady’s private jet at all. It could be that there are no publicly available images of his reported G550’s interior, and these images could be of unrelated aircraft.

The Wheels Up Connection
Tom Brady was an early investor with Wheels Up, a luxury private aviation company. He has been a prominent investor and brand ambassador for the company, which suggests he likely charters or utilizes their jet services. During the pandemic, he teamed up with Wheels Up to launch the “Meals Up” campaign that provided over a million meals to Feeding America. At the time, Feeding America posted, “Such an amazing gift! Thank you, Tom, for helping us get much-needed meals to our neighbors during this uncertain time.”
That post was in reply to a Tom Brady post reading: “Proud to partner with @WheelsUp for their #MealsUp Initiative to supply 10 million meals to @FeedingAmerica.” Brady has appeared in numerous commercials and advertisements for the company, including the “Up is Caring” campaign.
In 2024, ch-aviation reported that Wheels Up operates 103 aircraft under its Part 135 certificate, including a Beechjet 400A, nine Citation Excel, 17 Citation X, seven Citation XLS, one Hawker, 26 Hawker 400XPs, and 42 King Air B350s. It also provides passenger air carrier services through the certificate of Greeley Air Charter (Denver Rocky Mountain), which operates 14 Citation Jet 3s, two Citation Jet 3+, 15 Citation Xs, and one Gulfstream IV-SP. Ch-aviation did not list any Gulfstream G550s.
The Gulfstream G550 Private Jet
It’s also unclear if Brady has just the use of one private jet or more. It is also reported that he co-owns a $50 million aircraft with Gisele Bündchen. The G550 is an improved variant of the G500 and comes with a greater range. The G550 has a range of 6,750 nautical miles, up from the 5,300 nautical miles for the G500. The maximum speed is Mach 0.925, although the higher speeds limit the aircraft’s range.
The G550 is intended to be a luxury private jet, and Gulfstream says of its G500 series, “Create a bespoke interior with flexible configurations and cabin advancements that surround you in absolute comfort. Ease into award-winning seats as you host meetings or dining for six served from your choice of a forward or aft galley. The aircraft is common in air forces and governments around the world, with some being retrofitted for special roles like Special Electronic Missions Aircraft and Conformal Airborne Early Warning aircraft. Newest Gulfstream G800
Tom Brady’s private jet may be luxurious, but it is not the highest-end private jet that Gulfstream now offers. The latest ultra-high-end business jet Gulfstream now offers is the G800, which it claims has the longest range in the industry. The aircraft has a range of up to 8,200 nautical miles, up to four living areas, and a maximum of Mach 0.935.
On January 22, 2026, Executive Jet Management, which operates the jet, posted on its LinkedIn profile, “We are pleased to announce that a Gulfstream Aerospace G800 has officially joined our charter fleet. Managed by EJM and based in New York, this cutting-edge aircraft has the longest nonstop range of any business jet and seats up to 13 passengers.”
Importantly, according to Planespotters.net, this aircraft is owned by the New England Patriots (through Airkraft One Trust based in Delaware), the same football team that Brady once played for. The aircraft was delivered in November 2025, and it is unclear if Tom Brady has (or will) fly in this jet. The New England Patriots have a fleet of three aircraft, with the other two aircraft being aging Boeing 767-300 widebody airliners, now an average of 34.4 years old.
A Common & Fairly Typical Private Jet
It’s not possible to identify exactly which Gulfstream G550 Tom Brady has or how much it is worth, although the newest G550s are now around five years old. The interior of the aircraft pictured by The Sun appears rather typical for a private jet, although it’s unclear if those images are related to his aircraft. The operator remains a mystery, although it could be affiliated with Wheels Up, at least in some capacity.
