As a beauty editor, part of my job description entails trying nearly every beauty product that launches in a year, spanning from fragrance to makeup, skincare, and beyond. Because of this, my apartment and work desk are always overflowing with tubes, bottles, and jars—which may sound like a dream to most people, but in actuality, it’s total option overload.

To combat hoarder status, I sift through my products with a fine-toothed comb every week to give away what I don’t need, discard what I no longer use, and determine what’s good (or interesting enough) to stick around a little longer. When something is really incredible, it’ll stay in my collection for a season—and as we approach the end of the year, I can confidently say that I’ve curated my chicest winter beauty collection yet.
