Since then, I’ve become a fan of the L.A.-based label, which has become known for its minimalist, high-quality, timeless pieces. With a price range from $88 to $800, Rue Sophie emphasizes fabrics such as wool, cashmere, silk, cupro, lambskin, cotton, and lyocell. Cofounder and Creative Director Sabina Vilusic, originally from Croatia, draws inspiration from Europe—particularly its penchant for restraint—and an understated design approach of “permanence over trend.”
