Adamantite is the sixth-strongest equipment tier in Hytale, but it can only be found in one of the later zones of the game. If you’re looking in the wrong area, it’s, quite literally, impossible to find. However, if you’re in the correct zone with the proper equipment, you’ll be drowning in more adamantite than you can dream of.
Here’s where to find adamantite ore and how to craft adamantite ingots in Hytale.
How to find adamantite ore in Hytale
Adamantite ore is only found in the Devastated Lands, which is the dark volcanic region on the map. Before you set out, we recommend that you deck yourself out in cobalt equipment, as there are a lot of dangerous enemies in these spooky lands.
Similar to other ores, you can find adamantite on the surface and in caves, but unlike the others, adamantite seems to be fairly sparse inside of caves. To make up for that, we recommend traveling from point of interest to point of interest as you can find adamantite ore and ingots inside of chests. To do so, open your map and look for any buildings or villages, and travel to each one. An easy point of interest to look out for is the Forgotten Temple Gateway as there will be high-tier loot chests inside.
Additionally, you’re not only limited to the surface. You can also look for points of interest underground as there is a vast forest system in the caves beneath the Devastated Lands. There are a few downsides, however, as you can’t use the map to your advantage and your journey here will be a dangerous one.
How to get adamantite ingots in Hytale
Just like the other ores, you’ll need to smelt your adamantite ore in a furnace to obtain adamantite ingot.
If you’d like to craft adamantite equipment, you’ll need to upgrade their associated workbenches to tier 3. For example, if you’re looking for adamantite weapons, you’ll need a tier 3 blacksmith’s anvil.
Now that you’ve got some adamantite ingots in your inventory, we recommend using them to create your favorite weapon first and then building out a full armor set.
