The Washington Commanders revealed their final injury report of the 2025 season on Friday in what has been a frustrating year. The final injury report revealed three big names being ruled out: quarterbacks Jayden Daniels and Marcus Mariota and left tackle Laremy Tunsil.

Both the Commanders and Sunday’s Week 18 opponent, the Philadelphia Eagles, will have several notable names out. Most of Washington’s absences are due to injuries. The Eagles, having already clinched the NFC East and are still playing for the No. 2 overall seed, are resting several starters ahead of the playoffs. Some, like quarterback Jalen Hurts, will rest with no injuries listed. Others, even with minor injuries, will sit on Sunday.

Before we jump into the good and bad news from Washington’s Week 18 final injury report, let’s see it:

With so many top players out, Sunday’s game looks more like a preseason showdown.

Good news

• WR Treylon Burks, who missed Thursday’s practice with an illness, participated fully on Friday and will play. Every rep is critical for Burks. It’s a bit disappointing that Burks can’t play with Daniels or Mariota, but his being on the field remains a positive. The Commanders like Burks and, presumably, hope to retain him in 2026.

• RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt will play. Bill, like Burks, dealt with an illness this week. He’s been on a tremendous run in recent weeks and could top 800 rushing yards if he rushes for 24 yards. Croskey-Merritt also has eight rushing touchdowns.

Bad news

• Brandon Coleman, expected to start at left tackle again in place of Laremy Tunsil, is questionable with a knee injury. The good news is that Coleman practiced on Friday after being limited on Thursday. Durability has been a knock on Coleman, so it will be important for him to finish this season strong. After starting at left tackle last season, Coleman began the year at left guard before being replaced. He found a new role as a third tackle/jumbo tight end in certain sets and thrived. Since Tunsil has been down the last couple of weeks, Coleman returned to left tackle and played well.
