Global Diesel Prices Surge Higher as Iran War Disrupts Supplies


Outright diesel prices have surged as part of a wider oil market rally: In Europe, futures for March delivery surpassed $1,000 a ton, equivalent to more than $134 a barrel. But their gains have outpaced those for Brent, reflecting the Middle East’s importance as a large diesel exporter and supplier to other major refiners.
