Giannis breaks silence after NBA trade deadline with 5-word statement


The biggest name being thrown around during the leadup to the 2026 NBA trade deadline stayed put: Giannis Antetokounmpo is still a Milwaukee Buck, although we’ll see what happens after the season.

For now, the superstar big man is making a statement to the world. It’s not about him leaving for a contender, as he’s hinting — it’s about building something in Milwaukee. At least that’s how I read his message, which came with the much-used clip from The Wolf of Wall Street in which Leonardo DiCaprio’s character declares he’s not [expletive] leaving.
