Whether it’s building an illustrious career as a world-renowned singer-songwriter or opening a theme park, when Dolly Parton has a dream, she chases it until it comes true. If your dream is to visit Dollywood this year, Allegiant Air just announced a one-of-a-kind flight to make your trip to Parton’s “Tennessee Mountain Home” one you’ll never forget.

That uniquely themed flight experience will come Nov. 6 for travelers flying between Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The aptly named Flight 925: Destination Dollywood is a nod to one of Parton’s most popular songs, “9 to 5,” and promises travelers an opportunity to “celebrate the best of life as Allegiant and Dollywood Parks & Resorts light up the skies and the Smokies with rides, giveaways, music, food and laughter,” according to the press release.

The Dollywood-themed fun will begin as soon as travelers on Flight 925 arrive at the airport and continue throughout the flight, with gate celebrations, live entertainment straight from Dollywood, trivia, themed food and drinks, commemorative merchandise and more.

“Flight 925 is all about embracing the joy of travel,” Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, said in the press release. “Partnering with Dollywood Parks & Resorts allows us to deliver a unique experience that reflects the best of both brands: great value, unforgettable moments, and the chance to create memories from the second you step on board.”

Dollywood offers two on-site hotel options: Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort & Spa and Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort.

Flight 925 passengers can save on their Dollywood hotel stay with a special offer that includes up to 25% off on Nov. 6 and 7; a $100 credit to use toward food, beverage and merchandise purchases at their resort; and two Dollywood tickets. After booking, travelers will receive information and a unique link to book the Dollywood hotel-and-ticket package.

All on-site hotel guests with Dollywood tickets enjoy complimentary TimeSaver skip-the-line access and convenient trolley transportation to the park.
“This route to Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport is among Allegiant’s most popular, so creating a Dollywood-themed flight made perfect sense. Guests aboard flight #925 will enjoy a fast—and fun—way to reach the Smokies, where they can experience NightFlight Expedition, our brand-new adventure coaster, along with our award-winning Christmas festival featuring more than 6 million lights,” said Eugene Naughton, president of The Dollywood Company. “We’re excited to welcome our Orlando-area friends with several exclusive, behind-the-scenes park experiences to add even more memories to their Smoky Mountain vacation.”

The carrier already operates seasonal service between Orlando and Knoxville, with once- or twice-daily direct flights that take about 1 1/2 hours. You will pay a premium for this special experience. The typical fare is around $100, but at the time of writing, Allegiant’s Dollywood-themed flight was just over $300.
Tickets for Flight 925 are bookable now on Allegiant’s website and mobile app.
