De Adder of Canada: ‘I’ve never been more humbled and proud’

Nearly three years after his appointment, Order of Canada recipient and prolific political cartoonist Michael de Adder celebrated with friends and family at the Métropolitain Brasserie on March 18, on the eve of his official induction ceremony at Rideau Hall.

Nearly two-and-a-half years after receiving his mailed Order of Canada pin from the Governor General, one of Canada’s—and The Hill Times’—most influential political cartoonists, Michael de Adder, received the Order of Canada at Rideau Hall on March 19, but the enormity of the honour only set in over drinks the night before at the Métropolitain Brasserie in Ottawa.
