Ciara returned to the clear shoe trend Friday night in Miami, wearing silver pointed sandals to Karol G’s Con Cora Land Benefit Gala at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. The pair moved away from the fuller plexi construction of the Gianvito Rossi pumps she wore to the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards and narrowed the idea to a single transparent strap and a sharper metallic base.

She wore sandals with a clear PVC band stretched straight across the front, an open pointed toe and a mirrored silver footbed that extended into a pointed metal cap. Thin ties wrapped high around the ankle, while a slim stiletto heel finished the backless shape. The design kept the foot exposed but did not read fully bare; the silver base gave the shoe more structure than a standard naked or barely-there sandal.
Ciara paired them with a deep red Bronx & Banco gown from the brand’s spring 2026 collection. The look fit close through the body and opened into a thigh-high slit, with tonal feather trim running down the front and extending into a train. A matching head wrap kept the color story uninterrupted, which left the silver sandals as the clearest break in the look.

The metallic stiletto sandals continued Ciara’s streak of heels with subtle transparent details. At the 2025 VMAs, she wore Gianvito Rossi Plexi Metal Cap-Toe slingback pumps, another clear-forward style that paired transparency with mirrored silver rather than a fully see-through upper. Friday’s pair carried that same mix into a strappier evening sandal.

It also landed alongside other recent, more restrained takes on the clear shoe trend. Lily Allen wore Valentino pumps with a transparent toe strap and suede upper to the house’s couture show in Paris in January. Karol G wore translucent PVC mules to the 2026 Grammys in February. Ciara’s pair followed that same narrower track, limiting the clear detail to a single front strap.
Karol G held the second Con Cora Land Benefit Gala on Friday at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens in Miami through her Con Cora Foundation. The gala supports the foundation’s work in education, well-being, and initiatives across art, sports and culture. Lele Pons, Natti Natasha and Elena Rose were also among the guests.
