Everyone is taking notice of the Bears and where Caleb Williams can take this team. The Bears have now become a destination where desired stars will want to land.

In a recent Bears Wire article, Alyssa Barbieri breaks down the interview that took social media by storm. Maxx Crosby and Caleb Williams sat down for a podcast interview, a couple of days, and Barbieri gave her analysis on the highlights of the interview. Here are her thoughts and Maxx Crosby’s thoughts on Caleb:

“Last season, the Chicago Bears mounted their first of seven fourth-quarter comebacks in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders, where Josh Blackwell blocked the game-winning field goal attempt. But one of the biggest takeaways was the monster outing from Raiders star edge rusher Maxx Crosby.

So it was certainly noteworthy when Williams appeared on Crosby’s podcast, “The Rush with Maxx Crosby,” this week to discuss a variety of topics. But it’s what Crosby said when he was wrapping things up that really stood out, where his comments were quite telling about what he believes Williams can achieve in his career.

Here is what Crosby had to say about Caleb Williams:

“Just to be open and honest, bro, like we talked about earlier, but respect at a different level, bro. You’re one of those guys for sure and you’re just getting started. I don’t even know you understand yet how good you can be and that’s the scariest part. You know what I mean? Just keep that mindset, keep doing what you’re doing and you know we’re locked in forever. So keep doing your thing, bro. You need me, hit me at any time. It goes vice versa.”

Barbieri went on to say:

“It’s clear that both Williams and Crosby hold each other in high regard, and you have to wonder if there’s a scenario where they could wind up together in Chicago. It certainly feels like Crosby is on the trade block this offseason, and the Bears are in the early stages of their Super Bowl window with Williams and other offensive contributors on rookie deals. This would be the time for general manager Ryan Poles to make a big swing. Could it happen? Remains to be seen. But it certainly would be welcomed by Williams and Crosby, who have already developed a nice rapport.”

Caleb Williams and Maxx Crosby definitely want to be teammates. These two have a high amount of respect for each other, and Maxx Crosby would love nothing more than to have a quarterback of Caleb Williams’ caliber. This interview did nothing more than add even more fuel to the rumors and speculation about a Bears and Raiders trade this offseason.

Caleb Williams has made a fan out of just about everybody, but that will help this franchise with recruiting. People know that to win, you need to have an elite quarterback. Caleb Williams, in his short time in the league, has shown that. Maxx Crosby will not be the first nor the last star player who is trying to make his way to Chicago to play with Caleb Williams.

The Bears definitely have a match made in heaven with Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson; both guys are true competitors. The Bears’ offense will be in great hands moving forward. If the Bears can get someone cut from the same cloth as those two, which is a guy like Maxx Crosby, that will be the difference. Crosby would take this team to a whole other level.

Already the Bears should be a team that stands in Seattle’s way of repeating and winning the NFC next season just with their roster staying intact. If you add Maxx Crosby to this defense, the Bears will be on the same level as the Seahawks and maybe even a favorite to win it all.
