Brilliant Earth is bringing it back to the ’90s and early 2000s for a nostalgic collaboration with Ring Pop. The sustainable jewelry brand and Bazooka Candy Brands fruit-flavored candy treat partnered on a limited-edition capsule collection available now on Brilliant Earth’s official website.

“Ring Pop sparked the joy of wearing a ring for so many of us. This collection captures that same delight in every gemstone and thoughtful detail — fine jewelry designed to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments,” Pamela Catlett, chief brand officer for Brilliant Earth, told WWD exclusively.

The fine jewelry collection, retailing for $1,790, features inspiration from the Ring Pop candy rings, crafted with colorful lab-grown diamonds in Brilliant Earth’s signature hidden halo setting. The oversize gem-shaped silhouette, crafted in 14-karat gold, includes lab-grown stones that mirror Ring Pop’s classic colorways — including purple, green, blue and more.

The limited-edition collection keeps Millennials and Gen Z in mind. Initially invented in the 1970s, Ring Pops didn’t gain popular traction until the late ’90s and early 2000s. Memorable for the playful ways in which kids would wear and snack on the jewelry-inspired candy treats, Brilliant Earth channels its unique design codes with the vibrant tones that made Ring Pops so popular.

The resurgence of Y2K trends and styles coincides with the Brilliant Earth x Ring Pop collaboration in a moment of cultural synergy.

Several Y2K-inspired collaborations and collections debuted within the last year, from Australia-based brand I.Am.Gia‘s early 2000s-centric apparel to Nivea’s partnership Juicy Couture, famous for their early 2000s velour track suits, to celebrate the brand’s relaunch of its Essentially Enriched Body Lotion.

Brilliant Earth’s Ring Pop-inspired collection takes the sustainable jewelry brand into the trendy Y2K style streak. Previously, the jewelry brand partnered with the likes of grand slam tennis champion Madison Keys and the late Dr. Jane Goodall on jewelry collections inspired by and curated in partnership with cultural figures.
