OneBC, British Columbia’s newest far-right party, composed of only two elected MLAs, has become mired in internal conflict — causing 50% of that two-person caucus to trigger the removal of the leader over the weekend.
OneBC has been gaining attention in recent weeks for its provocative and inflammatory positions, including anti-Indigenous rhetoric and residential-school denialism, abolishing DEI, anti-LGBTQ2S+ policies and more.
On Sunday, OneBC released a statement revealing that Dallas Brodie had been removed as interim leader by the party’s board of directors, which includes Tara Armstrong, the party’s other MLA.
