AtkinsRéalis reports Q4 profit and revenue up, backlog climbs to record high


MONTREAL — AtkinsRéalis Group Inc. reported a fourth-quarter profit of $95.0 million, up from $52.4 million a year earlier.

The engineering services firm says the profit amounted to 57 cents per diluted share for the quarter ended Dec. 31, up from 30 cents per diluted share in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Revenue for the quarter totalled $2.93 billion, up from $2.59 billion.

On an adjusted basis, AtkinsRéalis says its profit from professional services and project management amounted to 97 cents per diluted share, up from 26 cents per diluted share a year earlier.

AtkinsRéalis says demand for its services and nuclear products continued to be robust, resulting in a record-high backlog.

The company’s backlog stood at $21.21 billion at Dec. 31, up from $17.45 billion a year earlier.
