As Trump Bullies NATO, Europe Questions a Deferential Rutte


In a statement on Wednesday afternoon, a group of leaders from Europe and Canada pledged to “contribute to ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz,” but didn’t offer specifics. The group, which included Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK, also pushed negotiators to find a “lasting end to the war within the coming days.”
