During the Christmas Day game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Golden State Warriors, fans saw Anthony Davis leave with an injury.
The big man had just 3 points and 3 rebounds during 10 minutes of action before he left the game with a groin injury after slowing down and pulling up lame while on the receiving end of a full-court pass in the second quarter.

Davis went to the bench to stretch before he and the team made a decision about how they would handle the injury after he was fully examined by the staff during a timeout.
He was officially ruled out for the remainder of the game against Golden State, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
ESPN’s Malika Andrews added that the decision to sit Davis came down to an “abundance of caution” after he experienced muscle spasms.
