Antique coins in Resident Evil Requiem are a special currency that you need in order to upgrade Grace’s attributes. While some coins are literally just waiting to be picked up in obvious places, others are hidden and even locked in safes. By finding most coins, you ensure Grace will have what it takes to face the challenges along her way.
However, depending on your difficulty, the antique coin locations will change. In this guide, you’ll find the locations of all antique coins in casual and standard (modern and classic) difficulties.
To help you collect these premium currencies, here’s a list of every antique coin location in Resident Evil Requiem.
[Ed. note: This guide contains minor spoilers for Resident Evil Requiem.]
Update (March 2): We’ve added the two antique coins to the list.
All antique coin locations in Resident Evil Requiem
Antique coins are used in Resident Evil Requiem to unlock Grace’s upgrades in the Parlor. These are key upgrades that will make the rest of your journey a bit easier, so obtaining all of them is definitely something you want to aim for.
In total, you need 17 coins to unlock every upgrade in the Parlor, and we have found 23 antique coins scattered throughout the Care Center on casual and standard difficulty. Below, we’ve listed each antique coin’s location in chronological order of when you’ll find them.
Antique coin #1 — Nurse Station
When you first enter the Nurse Station, climb on top of the cart and look on top of the locker to find this coin.

Antique coin #5 — Bar & Lounge (West Wing)
Inside the Bar & Lounge, you’ll also encounter a Singer, a screaming zombie. If you kill them, they’ll drop an antique coin. While you can fight her whenever you want, it’s best to wait until you can approach the Bar & Lounge from the Kitchenette, since she is patrolling the corridor alone.
Antique coins #6-8 — Bar and Lounge (West Wing)
Behind the counter in the Bar and Lounge, you’ll find a safe, which contains three antique coins. For more information on how to open the safe, check out our Bar and Lounge safe guide.

Antique coin #10 — Parlor (West Wing)
To obtain this coin, shoot at the 7, 15, or 29 on the table. Then, interact with the roulette. If the ball lands on the exact number you shot at, an antique coin will appear over the number on the table.
Antique coin #11 — Parlor (West Wing)
Still inside the Parlor, this antique coin is located on the counter.
Antique coin #12 — Parlor (West Wing)
This coin is inside a small green vase on the counter beside the larger vase on the floor in the Parlor.
Antique coins #13-15 — Examination Room (East Wing)
Inside the Examination Room, you’ll find a safe, which contains three antique coins, on a shelf in the corner of the room. For more information on how to open the safe, check out our Examination Room safe guide.
Antique coin #16 — Waiting Room (East Wing)
To find this antique coin, look for the small table on the east side of the Waiting Room, in front of the door from where you enter this room for the first time.
Antique coin #17 and #18 — Waiting Room (East Wing)
In the southwest corner of the Waiting Room, you’ll find an open safe behind the counter. Inside, you find two antique coins.
Antique coin #19 — Room east of Waiting Room (East Wing)
From the Waiting Room, follow the corridor to the east to find a small table between two sofas. On top of it, this antique coin is waiting.
Antique coin #20 —Room east of Waiting Room (East Wing)
In the same room as antique coin #19, you’ll find a small jar on top of the cabinet, beside the table where you found the previous coin. Break the jar to find an antique coin inside.
Antique coin #21 — Conference Room(East Wing)
As you progress in the campaign, you inevitably need to explore the Conference Room. Before you enter the larger room, you’ll find the antique coin on a desk.
Antique coin #22 — Conference Room (East Wing)
The second coin you can obtain in the Conference Room drops from the Singer. She is blocking your path to a key quest item, so you’ll need to deal with her to reach it. Once she’s dead, collect the coin from her body.
Antique coin #23 — Courtyard
Immediately after you leave the Care Center, you gain access to the courtyard. Go down the first set of stairs and turn around to find a set of four chairs. On the southwesternmost chair, you’ll find an antique coin.
