Adam Lippes, who is planning significant international retail expansion, has appointed fashion executive Alison Loehnis to its board of directors.
Loehnis was previously interim chief executive officer and president of Yoox Net-a-porter and played a pivotal role in transforming the group’s brands: Net-a-porter, Mr Porter, The Outnet and Yoox during her long career there. Her deep expertise in product, global marketing, retail strategy, digital innovation and brand development are expected to help support Lippes as the fashion company enters its next phase of international growth.
“Alison brings unparalleled experience in global luxury retail and digital strategy,” said founder Adam Lippes. “Her insight and leadership will be invaluable as we expand our international presence and continue strengthening our direct-to-consumer business.”
Other board members include Lippes, Nancy Rogers and Courtney Sarofim.

Loehnis said, “I have long admired Adam’s work and his unwavering focus on elegance, beautiful silhouettes and superb craftsmanship. He truly knows his customer and season after season delivers collections that are chic, modern, yet also timeless, with exquisite attention to detail. I so look forward to being a part of this next chapter of the business and the further development of the Adam Lippes brand.”
This April, the brand will launch its dedicated e-commerce platform in Japan, further strengthening its direct relationship with clients in the region. In May, Lippes will open a shop-in-shop at Osaka Takashimaya, followed by a pop-up at Ginza Six in September. The brand was introduced in Japan through several wholesale partners including Estnation, United Arrows and Barneys New York.
Next month Lippes will open a pop-up boutique at Le Bristol Paris. The boutique will showcase the newly launched handbag collection, signature cashmere knitwear, core ready-to-wear styles and a curated selection of French antiques personally sourced by Lippes.
In June, the brand will open its London location on Mount Street. The new boutique represents a strategic expansion into the U.K. market, after marking its debut at Harrods last year.
