A bunch of funny posts, plus TrumpWatch and Animal Crackers

You know, thinking that AI can just do all this detail work just isn’t happening, is it:

As a longtime fan of HOW IT’S MADE, I can’t say I’m surprised exactly by how much any manufactured good is essentially handmade but it’s still striking to see how much of even high tech stuff like camera lenses is “a worker with a paintbrush and screwdriver moves stuff around by hand”

Good observation

The best political interviewers in Britain and Europe treat questioning like a point in tennis – you keep hitting until the exchange is resolved.

Nearly all American interviewers treat a question like a penalty kick in soccer – you have one shot, and if the interviewee deflects, that’s it.

Televangelist Franklin Graham has asked us to pray for Donald Trump, so here it goes:

“May the gates of Hell swallow him, his family of grifters, his criminal cabinet, the Republican politicians who were accomplices to the betrayal of America, and every MAGA voter.”

I feel better now. Praise be.
