DC police investigating shooting involving National Guard member


The Metropolitan Police Department in Washington said it was investigating early on Monday a shooting that involved a member of the National Guard.

“MPD is investigating a shooting in the 400 block of 8th Street SE involving a National Guardsman,” the force said in a statement.
