The Los Angeles Rams look to pick up their third win of the 2026 season in a home contest against their NFC West rivals, the Arizona Cardinals. Here are five predictions going into the pivotal Week 6 matchup.
Matthew Stafford takes a bold step in the MVP race
Stafford was amazing against the Cardinals last season, putting up over 500 passing yards, seven touchdowns, and zero interceptions in two wins over Arizona.

Not only does Stafford make it four straight wins in total, but he does so in style with another signature performance. Defensive coordinator Nick Rallis has been figured out by Los Angeles before, and with Budda Baker being questionable, Los Angeles should let the ball fly.
Stafford tosses over 300 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions in the victory.
Nacua once again
Puka Nacua put up 17 catches last week, resulting in his second straight 100-yard performance. Nacua has a knack for maintaining his rhythm, especially against divisional opponents. This time it should be no different, especially after seeing 24 targets last week.

The Cardinals should mix things up, but Nacua should walk away with at least 10 receptions for 150 yards and one score. Also, I’m predicting at least 15 rushing yards as well. Wouldn’t be surprised if he broke a big run, though.
Donald dominates up front
Donald almost secured his first sack of the season last week, but it was negated by a penalty. That was just enough to get his engine revving as the future Hall of Famer finally adds a sack to his 2026 tally. In fact, he adds two, while recording at least three quarterback hits.
Kinchens cooks the Cardinals
Kam Curl is expected to play but he is dealing with an ankle injury. Thus, Kam Kinchens should be playing closer to the ball, with Curl defending up top to limit wear and tear. Kinchens has a nose for the football, and LaFleur knows Kinchens loves to bite on fakes.

Expect LaFleur to test Kinchens, but the Rams will make sure the burgeoning safety is ready. Kinchens adds at least five tackles and an interception to his tally.
Grupe is perfect
Having suffered too many failures, the Rams replaced kicker Harrison Mevis with Blake Grupe. Mevis had a strong first year with Los Angeles, as most kickers do, before falling apart in Year 2. Expect Grupe to get off to the same type of start, nailing every field goal and extra point opportunity he sees.
