The Sturbridge Vintage Show is setting its sights on menswear.
The trade show is an offshoot of the 40-year antiques fair held in Sturbridge, Mass., that has historically drawn designers, collectors and stylists in search of vintage pieces and inspiration.
David Brockman, the owner of Honeymoon Antiques in New York City, took over the show in 2022 and will bring its latest edition to the Altman Building on Nov. 6 and 7. The show will be centered around vintage sourcing and design research and will bring a selection of dealers from the U.S. and U.K. to showcase antique and vintage fashion, textiles, jewelry, accessories and rare pieces.
Sturbridge has long been considered a destination for designers, stylists and collectors and has become a resource for everything from archival silhouettes and historic textiles to heritage workwear and collectible designer garments that inform modern fashion.
This edition will feature a dedicated menswear floor for the first time and include dealers specializing in vintage menswear, denim, workwear, tailoring, accessories and rare archival pieces. Previous editions have attracted attendees including designer Anna Sui and actress Laverne Cox.
The show will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 6 and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 7. The Altman Building is located at 138 West 18th Street.
