A Louis Vuitton show, at dusk, at the Louvre is not a bad way to mark your first fashion show.
After working with the brand a few times, including on a red draped gown she won the Emmy in last month, Rhea Seehorn was invited out to Paris for Louis Vuitton’s spring 2027 show.
“The whole thing was just so beautiful,” Seehorn says from the car immediately following the show. “And especially the amount of art and consideration he puts into the entire presentation. He was telling me about the art direction and art design and the music and everything. And then these clothes…I’ve always loved the fashion shows and I’ll watch clips online and everything, but to be there in person is such an incredible experience.”
The “Pluribus” star said that the only downside was how short fashion shows are.
“It makes me so sad. I was like, ‘what do you mean it’s only 10 minutes long?’” she said.

Seehorn had met Louis Vuitton’s Nicolas Ghesquière before and had been especially touched that he made a point to watch “Pluribus.”
“When I was congratulating Nicolas about the art direction of the show, he was like, ‘Well, look at the art direction of ‘Pluribus.’’ He’s so kind and so generous. And he actually is a consumer of other people’s art,” Seehorn said. “And I see that in his clothes and I see that in the beautiful gowns that I got to wear to multiple events and getting to win at the Emmys wearing a gorgeous Louis Vuitton. There’s something about him staying so available and still plugged in to the world. It doesn’t feel like he’s in a tower somewhere. It feels like he is in conversation with the world and with other people’s art, and he can fluently talk to you about all of it.”
For the show, Seehorn tried on two different looks, one of knit separates and one featuring a white blouse, which immediately became the front-runner.
“As soon as we put on the leather pants with this exquisitely tailored white blouse with the most gorgeous collar…the cut and the tailoring of the shirt and the pants were just so stand-alone special…and they were really happy about my recent haircut trim because it’s the perfect length for the collar,” Seehorn says. “We were just kind of like, ‘OK, this is it.’”

At the show, Seehorn was seated next to “Sinners” actor Wunmi Mosaku, who she’d gotten to know on the campaign circuit last year. As Seehorn pulls up to her destination, a dinner with the brand, she runs into Mosaku again on the sidewalk outside, as well as a drive-by hello from none other than Zendaya.
“She was just saying congratulations because I didn’t get to meet her at the Emmys, and I met every single other person that was in my category,” Seehorn says into the phone after Zendaya has walked away. “How lovely of her to stop and say that.”
It’s the perfect ending note on Seehorn’s Paris trip, which has been a rare few days to herself. She’s spent it eating “10,000 croissants,” shopping at Merci and spending hours inside a store dedicated to miniatures.
“In case anybody’s reading this and wants to make sure that I’m still a nerd, I am,” Seehorn says.
