UK retailer Sports Direct doesn’t exactly have the best reputation; especially following the acquisition of GAME in 2019 by owner Frasers Group.
GAME in particular has often been slammed for its high prices, even before its acquisition. But a listing on the website for Sports Direct / GAME for a Theatrhythm Final Fantasy sticker set – yes, a sticker set – is quite beyond the pale.
We’re hoping this might just be a harmless mistake, but the site currently lists the product for a whopping £499.00. This means the sticker set is more expensive than the Switch 2’s RRP of £419.99. It’s only marginally cheaper than a PS5 Digital Edition, too.
What’s worse is that the sticker set is listed at half price, down from an apparent RRP of £999.99. What the heck is going on? Oh, and you also have to pay a minimum £4.99 for delivery, even if you have it sent to a Sports Direct branch. Cool, cool.

It has to be a mistake, right? We can’t imagine even Sports Direct would be so brazen with its pricing.
