The survey was fielded in August 2026. For comparison purposes only, a probability sample of this size would carry a margin of error of +/-4.36 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. Questions specific to tipped employees (Q5–Q10) are based on the subset of 250 respondents who receive tips as part of their compensation (Q2); a probability sample of this size would carry a margin of error of +/-6.20 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
