How ketamine, kratom and other dangerous drugs are changing Cornell and other schools


On Oct. 17, 2024, a Cornell University sophomore who was worried about drug use at fraternity parties suggested to the school’s student government that all student housing should be supplied with medication for opioid overdoses, date-rape drug testing kits, and an easy means of testing whether drugs were laced with fentanyl or xylazine.
