Build a Portfolio of Real AI Projects With Udacity’s Discounted Claude Program

Save up to 40%: Udacity is knocking 15% off its Claude-focused production AI engineering program if you prepay for four months. That works out to $212 per month instead of the usual $249. New Udacity users get an even better offer: 40% off. Either way, it’s a chance to level up on production AI for less.

If you haven’t come across Udacity, it’s an online learning platform that teaches AI, cloud and other emerging tech through project-based courses. Instead of just sitting through lectures, you build things, get personalized feedback from a mentor and walk away with practical, job-ready skills.

Save up to 40%

This program skips the beginner material. It’s self-paced and runs about 38 hours. You’ll also need basic Python and some familiarity with generative and agentic AI. You’ll learn production AI engineering using Claude technologies such as the Claude Agent SDK, Claude Code and the Model Context Protocol (or MCP).

The focus is on production-critical skills such as agent orchestration, evaluation and testing, human-in-the-loop workflows and more. You’ll tackle 13 hands-on projects modeled on enterprise scenarios in insurance, retail, financial services and manufacturing. A mentor reviews every project. Finish and you get a certificate and a portfolio.

Why this deal matters

This one’s aimed at software engineers who already know their way around Claude and want to move past demos to systems they can actually ship. The discounts help, too, since 15% off for prepaying or 40% off for new users makes trying it a lot easier to justify.
