Raye sparkled on Sunday night’s 2026 MTV VMAs arrival carpet in her Georges Hobeika couture design at Los Angeles’s Peacock Theater.

The “Where Is My Huband” singer turned to the Lebanese designer’s fall 2027 couture collection for her attire. Raye’s dress featured a sheer material base, which was wholly encrusted with glittering gems and tear drop pearls.

An update on sleek, sensual club-crooner style, the halter dress’ silhouette included a scoop neckline with a draped bust and a line of tear drop pearls. A cinched waist gave the dress added silhouette definition, while the back of the skirt included a vent for ease of movement.

Swirls of silver embellishments were the dominating motif, along with the pearls. As for accessories, Raye wore Angara jewels, including the bezel-set pear aquamarine leverback drop earrings, with 2.4 carats of aquamarine set in platinum, along with the Art Deco-inspired graduated diamond anniversary band, with one carat of diamonds set in 14K white gold.

While her sparkling dress certainly elevated her usual retro-inspired style, Raye’s glam was wholly ’60s. The singer’s voluminous hair featured tight ringlets and curls, while her makeup included a bold brow and deep red lip. Stylist Eniola Dare curated Raye’s look.

Raye is nominated for two awards at the 2026 MTV VMAs, including Song of the Year for her single “Where Is My Husband.”

The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards returned to Los Angeles on Sunday at the Peacock Theater, marking the show’s first West Coast edition since 2017. Snoop Dogg hosts the ceremony, which airs live on CBS and MTV and streams on Paramount+.

Madonna, this year’s most-nominated artist, is set to open the show, while Nirvana will receive the Video Vanguard Award and Taylor Swift was honored with MTV’s inaugural Artist Director Honors.
