Two American denim brands are joining forces to support “Made in USA” denim.
On Saturday, Greensboro, N.C.-based Wrangler and Nashville-based Imogene + Willie debuted the first of three drops featuring jeans made with deadstock selvedge denim from Cone Denim’s now-shuttered White Oak plant in Greensboro.
The collection was manufactured in the United States, marking the first time Wrangler has produced a collection domestically in more than 20 years.
It also underscores Imogene + Willie’s mission to put American materials and manufacturing first. The brand’s network of suppliers spans California, Pennsylvania, Washington, New York and more. In 2025, the brand launched the Cotton Project, a T-shirt and denim collection made of cotton grown, ginned, spun, knit, cut and sewn all within a 400-mile radius of the brand’s headquarters.

“When you bring together Wrangler’s remarkable history with a shared commitment to preserving American craftsmanship, you create something that’s larger than a single collection,” said K.P. McNeill, CEO of Imogene + Willie. “From the very beginning, we believed this project should honor the people, mills, and makers who continue to keep this craft alive. We hope it reminds people that extraordinary products can still be built through that level of intention and collaboration.”
The first drop centers on Wrangler’s vintage 10MWZ model made with White Oak’s selvedge denim. Men’s and women’s versions are available.

The second drop will launch on Oct. 24 and will include Wrangler’s signature broken twill across jackets, shirts, and jeans developed with Mount Vernon Mills in Trion, Ga. Mount Vernon, which will speak at SJ’s Fall Summit on Sept. 29, is the last remaining large-scale denim mill in the United States and recently acquired vintage shuttle looms previously owned by White Oak. The drop will also include vintage-inspired graphic tees, sweatshirts and accessories.
The brands will drop their final collection of deadstock denim styles in western cuts, including a rigid western snap shirt, on Nov. 7.

“This partnership allowed us to explore our roots through a fresh lens, resulting in pieces that honor the true artistry behind every single stitch,” said Joe Broyles, Wrangler’s VP of global collaborations and chase. “It is a celebration of our shared passion for preserving denim heritage and an homage to the uncompromising quality that has always defined our brand.”
The collection will range in price from $48 to $350. Details like labels, pocket flashers, packaging and visual assets were reimagined through Imogene + Willie’s distinctive design process.
The partnership also reveals how Wrangler has influenced Imogene + Willie’s heritage aesthetic over the years.
“This project began with a deep and enduring admiration,” said Carrie Eddmenson, Imogene + Willie co-founder. “Wrangler’s story has shaped our own. The blue jean they introduced became a blueprint not just for style, but for integrity, craft, and American identity. Made in America has always been a core tenet of who we are, and who Wrangler helped inspire us to become. For them to join us here at home feels more like a ceremony than a collaboration.”
