– There is increasing interest in Brentford winger Kevin Schade from Arsenal and Liverpool, according to Sky Sports. Brentford have held initial talks with the Germany international about extending his contract to see off that interest, with the aforementioned pair being the most serious about signing the 24-year-old when the summer transfer window drew to a close, although Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also admirers. Schade has entered the last two years of his current deal and Brentford are keen to offer him improved terms.

– Inter Milan center back Alessandro Bastoni has re-emerged as a transfer option for Barcelona, while Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City also retain an interest in him, according to TEAMtalk. The 27-year-old was the topic of serious interest during the summer, but Inter remained firm on their valuation of close to £70 million for the Italy international. Chelsea would benefit from his ability to play in a back three, while Liverpool and City are looking at him as they prepare to eventually lose Virgil van Dijk and Rúben Dias.

– Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are all keen on a potential deal for versatile Atlético Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente, whose contract expires in the summer, according to TEAMtalk. Madrid are in talks with the 31-year-old over fresh terms and there is confidence within the Spanish club that an agreement will be reached. The situation has still attracted interest from the Premier League, with the trio of giants assessing whether Llorente could become available.

– Real Madrid are keeping an eye on Stuttgart center back Finn Jeltsch, reports Spanish newspaper AS. Madrid have signed Dean Huijsen and Ibrahima Konaté in the last two summer transfer windows but continue their efforts to strengthen the heart of their defence, and they are now monitoring several players from around the world. Jeltsch, 20, received his first Germany call-up from Jürgen Klopp this international window having joined Stuttgart from Nurnberg in January 2025.

– Liverpool are very satisfied with Ronald Araújo during his loan from Barcelona and could trigger their option to permanently sign the defender for €55 million, reports Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo. The Uruguay international has played seven matches for the Reds, five of those coming as a starter, but he is already convincing the club and Andoni Iraola. The versatility displayed by the 27-year-old to play both right-back and centre-back has also caught the eye.
