There are a few promotions and new gigs on the hill as the House gets back into the swing of things.

Aaron Rosenbaum has joined the Office of the Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation as a communications advisor.

Rosenbaum makes the move after two years in Secretary of State Anna Gainey’s office, where he most recently served as digital communications and operations advisor.

“I started as an intern with no experience and a lot to prove, and left as Digital Communications and Operations Advisor, two campaigns, two conventions and a whole lot of firsts later,” Rosenbaum wrote on a post on LinkedIn.

Before arriving on the Hill, Rosenbaum was the acting president for the Canadian Union of Jewish Students between 2024 to 2025.

Lauren Stokes is taking on two new roles within the Government Representative Office.

Stokes has been promoted as the director of parliamentary affairs in the office of Senator Patti LaBoucane-Benson, the legislative deputy to the Government Representative in the Senate.

She has also officially joined Government Representative Senator Pierre Moreau’s Office as his director of communications.

“I cannot overstate how grateful I am to Senator LaBoucane-Benson and Senator Moreau for trusting me with this work in the Government Representative Office,” Stokes wrote in a post on LinkedIn.

“It’s a real privilege to work for them, and to continue working with the amazing GRO team,” she wrote.

Stokes has been a part of the Senate Government since 2019.
