With a toddler and one on the way, I’ve been thinking a lot about maximizing space. One of the most popular solutions for parents with two or more kids is investing in a trundle bed. Sold as add-on “drawers” or built into the bed frame, these can offer tons of space-saving benefits. Not only can they accommodate another kiddo (a huge plus for sleepovers!), but trundles can also serve as a discreet bonus storage area. Simply leave it mattress-less, and stow away toys, clothing, and more until you need it to function as a two-in-one trundle bed.

Before splurging on one of these beds — or any bed, for that matter — we like to consider the materials. The Savona Bed is manufactured with FSC-certified solid white oak, plywood, and oak veneer.
